Dear Joe - Here is a photo of Michael on a class trip to Dorset last week ice fishing and snow-mobiling. It is a balmy -15 C (+5 Farenheit). The leg warmers kept him toasty at -37 C (-34 Farenheit) getting on the bus a few weeks ago!"

I LOVE my rain poncho. It is not only well-made (my friends and caregivers comment on this every time I wear it), but quite convenient.  It folds into a pouch easily and can hang on my wheelchair, which is a boon when rain is erratic.

When I first began looking for a wheelchair poncho for my 10 year old daughter, I was surprised to find very little with appropriate designs for the younger population. The sleeves are easy to manuever. I am able to reach into the large wrist opening, up through the sleeve, and assist my daughter's arm through the wristband which then velcros tightly around her wrist. The adjustability is very functional--with or without handsplints. The headrest zipper works like a dream and alleviates any "bunching" of fabric around the shoulders and back. Melissa loves her new poncho!
