The insight that Mr. Ross has into the special needs of men women and children with limited mobility comes from a quadriplegia that was the result of a car accident. Mr. Ross is an inventor who sees the lack of traditional, off-the-rack clothing for mobility impaired people as an opportunity to fulfill a mission that is personal as well as professional. In this way, he makes his contribution to humanity. Between April 1998 to October 2001, through Epiphany Design, Mr. Ross developed and brought to market several innovative new products which were very well received by mobility impaired customers and professionals in the field. Mission: To create innovative ways of giving people freedom and self-reliance. Summary: Epiphany Design is a Canadian manufacturer offering adaptive clothing for physically challenged people. We design for disabled children and adults who use scooters or wheelchairs. Our specialty is outerwear to accommodate restraint systems, headrests or ventilators. Products include ponchos, shawls, capes with velcroe closures, rain gear, winter coats, pants, leggings and other products required for daily living with a mobility impairment.
